Joey has settled in beautifully. He and
our other Cocker, Gizmo, had to get their sleeping arrangements sorted
out but by night three, everyone was happy. He and our Kees/Sheltie
mix Mia squabble about whose toy is which but otherwise, they are doing
fine also. One of his favorite spots is the couch in our office - if
he goes missing from being in the middle of things, that's where we
look for him. He loves going for walks and is a very well behaved,
friendly, little guy. He's easy to be around and has fit into our
schedule very well. He loves car rides. We took him to visit our vet
this morning. He did fine. We have a supply of his thyroid meds and
will get him tested again in 6 months. His ears are doing fine. We're
bathing him for the skin condition and our vet has suggested a few
days on an anti fungal medication so we're going to give that a try.
He's just a happy little guy and even itching and scratching doesn't
seem to phase him. We're glad to have him and hope he'll be very happy
with us for the rest of his life. Thanks for all you do. We couldn't
be happier with our four legged friends.
