Homecoming was a little rough the first day due to Winston's
apprehension and fear toward our one year old yellow lab Willie. Willie
just loved Winston and wanted to play like crazy however Winston was a
little unsure and every time he looked at Willie he growled and showed
his teeth. I kept them separated and each day introduced them again and
again in small doses and now Winston is no longer showing fear of
Willie. They even played yesterday (Winston on a leash) for 20 minutes.
I'm confident in due time, Winston and Willie will be the best of
friends!
Other than that, I cannot say enough about what a joy Winston is. He
is calm, quiet, sweet, and completely house broken! He does have some
skin allergies but takes his medication and enjoys his baths! He sleeps
every night at the foot of my 11 year old daughter's bed and rides
happily in the car to take the kids to and from school.Winston is a wonderful dog and I'm so happy we have been given the opportunity to give him a loving home.
