Baxter's new mom called tonight to tell me how much they love, love, love him. He has made himself at home and is already best friends with their other cocker girl "Sammie." He has shown no signs of separation anxiety, listens well and loves running in the fenced back yard. He is learning to walk well on leash and they are simply thrilled with him. They have rocks surrounding their above ground pool...every time he comes in from the back yard he carries in a rock and drops it on the kitchen floor in front of his new mom which makes her laugh...sounds like Baxter is happy in his new forever home!!!!

Jesse James Memorial
Jesse gave me a life filled with love, wisdom beyond a dogs capabilities, laughter, tears devotion and the beauty I found in his soft brown eyes, in short he gave me a new life.
Jesse gave me a life filled with love, wisdom beyond a dogs capabilities, laughter, tears devotion and the beauty I found in his soft brown eyes, in short he gave me a new life.
Jesse James, my little man, he changed my life from a high
school teacher to a dog trainer. He gave me an understanding that not all
aggressive dogs need to be put down. He assisted me in my most difficult dog
cases as he understood other dogs better than any human could hope too and he
was fearless. He started agility classes at age 12, after having two cruciate
surgeries at age seven and eight. He was strong and kept up with the youngest in
the classes.
I thank Jesse for helping me grieve the loss of my golden
retriever Winston at age seven and in helping to raise his companion - my golden
retriever William. I thank Jesse for opening up a whole new world of friends
at the cocker spaniel adoption center. I thank Jesse, my little man, who
was known by many names; "skeeter", "roo", "magoo" and "J" for just being Jesse.
Since you have been gone we have honored your memory and
life by adopting another cocker age 3 and his name is Jay. He is named after
you.
Goodbye Little Man run free with your brother Winston and
watch over your "famiwee" until we can be together again. Jesse was adopted from
Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center on March 5, 2000 and went to the rainbow bridge
on January 25, 2012.
He will be loved forever

Lucky's Happy Ending
He
is doing so great and is still such a sweetie pie! We couldn't love him
more and he definitely has the run of the house already! He still barks
when he is alone but lately we have been coming home after a few hours
and he is being quiet so we think he is slowly getting used to being
alone. We know it will take time so are happy no neighbors can hear him
in the process!
He has created a new game where he runs down the
stairs over and over again bringing one toy down at a time. Then a few
hours later he will repeat and bring all of the toys back up the stairs!
He certainly gets his exercise!
Overall he is doing great, and we love having him!
We hope he is happy to have us too! He loves Andy the most that is for
sure; the second Andy walks in the door, even if just after 30 minutes,
Lucky acts like the happiest pup! I have attached a couple pictures here
for you both to see. We took him to the groomer the other day and he
looks great! His ears are looking incredible too so we are making we
keep those ear infections away! There is a dog park near us that we take
him to a lot which he loves.
Thanks for being so helpful over the last few months, we hope the other pups are doing great!
Best,
Brooke and Andrew
